Room of Horror

Room of Horror turns nursing training into an immersive VR challenge: trainees search a virtual hospital room for safety-relevant care errors — across six diverse patient profiles, with patient-specific scenarios and a weighted evaluation with instant feedback. Practicing safely, without endangering patients.

Every detected error can protect lives. Virtual today. Confident tomorrow. (German original: „Jeder entdeckte Fehler kann Leben schützen. Heute virtuell. Morgen souverän.”)

Room of Horror 2.0 is a project of the module Software Engineering Project (HWR Berlin, summer semester 2026) in cooperation with Bundeswehrkrankenhaus Berlin. It extends the existing application by Kaan Turan with diversity as a fundamental principle, an interactive patient file, a new evaluation system, and a modernized technical foundation.
